Tuesday May 15, 2018

Lasalle Parish

8:30 AM

Run Route:

  • The Run will begin at the Lasalle Courthouse, 1050 Courthouse Street, Jena, LA with Ceremony. The runners will take Courthouse Street to N. 1st Street, left on N. 1st Street to Oak Street.  Left on Oak Street to Walking Trail by Mac’s Big Star.  Short distance on walking trail back to E. Elm Street, then right onto N. 2nd Street ending back at the courthouse.  Distance is 1 mile.

Grant Parish

10:30 AM

Run Route: 

  • The run will begin at Grant Parish Courthouse, 200 Main Street, Colfax, LA after welcoming ceremony. Runners will go down Courthouse to Main Street to LA Hwy 158. Left onto Faircloth Street to @nd Street, ending back at Courthouse.  Distance 1 mile.

Rapides Parish

1:00 PM

Run Route:

  • Runner will start at the back gate at Louisiana College on Main Street at College Boulevard, Pineville, LA.  Running down Main Street over the Jackson Street Bridge into Alexandria.  Left onto Main Street then right onto Murray Street and right on Bolton Avenue, ending at Alexandria Police Department, 1000 Bolton Avenue.  Distance 2.4 miles.

Cenla Area Media Run/Jimmy Chevalier Run

4:00 PM

Run Route:

  • Runners will leave Louisiana State Police Troop E on Odom Street to Bolton Avenue.  Left on Bolton Avenue to Murray Street.  Left onto Murray Street to Downtown Alexandria ending at the Red River Amphitheatre.  Distance 2.4 miles.

7:00 AM

Run Route:

  • Runners will go from Troop E, down Odom Street to Bolton Avenue.  Bolton Avenue to N. Macarthur Drive to Masonic Drive ending at McAllister’s Deli, 3601 Masonic Drive, #2525, Alexandria, LA.  Distance 4.5 miles.
  • From McAllisters runners will head towards Krotz Springs/Opelousas and then to Hammond for Capital Area run and State Summer Games Opening Ceremonies on Friday.
